The FIAPAS 40th Anniversary Scientific Congress “Child Deafness. From Diagnosis to Educational Inclusion. Challenges and the Future” was held in Madrid on 23rd and 24th November 2018 as one of the activities of FIAPAS within the context of the Collaboration Agreement with the Ministry of Vocational Education and with the support of the ONCE Foundation, and managed to bring together speakers of the highest scientific level both nationally and internationally to discuss the most relevant focal points of current times and, above all, those involving the future of hearing loss people.
During the congress, experts presented 5 Framework Conferences and 14 Seminars, all combined into 4 Symposia, in which the achievements and challenges relating to early diagnosis and intervention, the advances in the treatment of deafness, binaural and brain hearing, and the sound of learning were discussed.
