Specialist Training Network Since it was established, FIAPAS has been involved in different activities aimed at improving the training of those responsible for caring for people with hearing impairment and their families.
To this end, FIAPAS has developed a range of specialist and ongoing theory-practical training activities for professionals in the field of hearing impairment to implement a qualified Care, Support and Training Network for people with hearing impairments and their families.
Thanks to the Collaboration Agreement signed with the Ministry of Education (now the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport), FIAPAS has been able to continue its joint line of action with the Education Authorities started in 2005 to provide quality educational for hearing loss students.
These activities are also funded by the ONCE Foundation and recognised and registered as a teacher training activity by the current National Institute of Educational Technologies and Teacher Training (Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport).
At present, the training activities are aimed at teachers providing teaching and/or support in schools with students with hearing impairments.
