Given the great progress and improvements made in the socio-educational situation of hearing loss people in our country, children and young people with hearing loss and their families have different needs to previous generations of hearing loss people and require resources in line with current advances in the field of Health, Education, Technology, etc.
Due to these changes, and in order to improve the quality of care provided in the Family Care and Support Services (SAAF) of the FIAPAS Network and be able to adapt the responses to the needs posed by families, a Prospective Analysis of the demands most frequently met in SAAFs was conducted during 2010, and the most frequent demands were analysed.
