The 2nd Scientific Conference for Reflection on Education held in Madrid on 25th and 26th November 2016 as one of the actions undertaken by FIAPAS within the context of the Collaboration Agreement with the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport and the ONCE Foundation, brought together for the first time in Spain prestigious Spanish researchers to present the results of their studies on the situation of hearing loss students and to draw conclusions based on scientific data and evidence that would allow for educational policies to be designed in line with the situation ofhearing lossstudents.

During the Conference, the experts presented 15 recent studies and experiences produced in Spain in relation to the education, qualification and professional preparation ofhearing losschildren and youngsters. 4 papers were also presented by the Disability Support Services of the University of Burgos, the University of Valencia, the Complutense University of Madrid, and the Pontifical University of Comillas.
